Mamuthones and Issohadores in Mamoiada

A few days ago I came across an online article in Crowded Planet about the festival that took place in Mamoiada on the day of Sant'Antonio, Friday 17th January earlier this year: Mamuthones and Issohadores

The article is written in English, has some wonderful photographs and gives a fascinating insight into some of the traditions and customs that the Sardinians hold so dear. It reminded me that we were there at this very same festival on what was a very memorable day and have a few photos of our own that we would like to share.
